The Class 5 Ensemble has been busy rehearsing for this week's boys' and girls' Pre-K-Class 5 Music Festivals! Performances will be in Fiske Hall on Wed. 5/22 (boys) or Thurs. 5/23 (girls) from 9:00-10:00. Come on by to hear some beautiful melodies!

Ms. Briody's Class 1 science students had a special visitor last week… Mr. Byrd! Currently learning about honeybees, the boys enjoyed Mr. Byrd showing off his beekeeping equipment. They also enjoyed smelling the frames where the honey was extracted from. 🐝 🍯

Ms. Corbett's Class 7 & 8 Latin students created comics about Greek and Roman #Mythology last week. Students enjoyed telling stories they've learned throughout the semester in such a creative way!
Lower school students enjoyed looking through stacks of books during the annual Spring Book Fair last week! While everyone was buzzing about their new reads, there was also chatter about the great opportunities the new Reading and Learning Center will offer our students in 2020.
Nine upper school girls spent last Friday presenting robots they designed at #DigiGirlz, an all-day event at Microsoft. During their presentations they explained how their robots would solve problems and make the world a better place.
Last night at the annual Collegiate Athlete Reception we honored Class 12 students who will play sports during their college careers.

Yesterday, Class 5 girls taught Class 4 how to use PowerPoint. This tradition has existed for the last four years and works to benefit both grades. Class 4 girls did a presentation on mummification having learned about it in their recent studies of Ancient Egypt.

On Tuesday, March 5, Class 3 students visited Concord Museum. Students explored colonial attire, crafted designs on tin plates, and learned about actual tools and everyday necessities from colonial life.
