@Isaacthesword@Alhamdhulillaah Now, I’m not saying that other religions lack value.
it’s a question of explanatory structure. Competing revelation claims often involve later textual development or weaker linkage to origin events.
@Isaacthesword@Alhamdhulillaah What I mean by “Best explains” is a comparative fit:
- Historical proximity to origin,
- Transmission density,
- Textual stability.
Not certainty.
Just which account requires fewer ad-hoc assumptions.
@Isaacthesword@Alhamdhulillaah I’m curious to know what you consider ‘good reasons’ to believe?
- Islam has structured lifestyle
- prohibits things that are harmful to yourself or others
- provides preventative measures in a structured legal system
- provides holistic approaches to almost everything.

After he won the Pulitzer Prize, Palestinian writer Mosab Abu Toha was invited onto MSNBC where he was promptly interrogated about why he wasn't doing more to humanize the people slaughtering his family members in Gaza.
@Jaro4x@philosophymeme0 In philosophy and logic, a proof can be a valid deductive argument that establishes a conclusion from justified premises.
So if God’s existence follows logically from sound premises, that would still count as a philosophical proof, even if you personally reject the premises.
@NovaSetraX@IHaveBread_ Go into infinite disco. There is a button at the top when you switch to “play” (not challenge) and it says add your own music.
You just gotta get the MP3 of the song and add it in via files (it’ll give you a prompt anyways)
A tradition in Damascus is that people don't ask, "How much is the Quran's price", when buying a Mushaf, out of respect, but rather say, "How much is the donation I should give you for the Quran", as they are paying for the printing services not the words themselves
