I’ve been looking at the RWA space differently lately.

We spend so much time talking about putting assets on-chain, but rarely ask the more important question:

Which parts of finance are still waiting to be opened up?

Private markets immediately come to mind.

There’s an entire layer of investing happening before companies ever reach the public market, yet most people only get access once the biggest part of the journey has already happened.

That’s where @pipo_stocks caught my attention.

PIPO is building infrastructure around Pre-IPO investing, tokenization, RWAs, and private-market liquidity, connecting traditional financial assets with blockchain rails.

For decades, private-market investing has largely been reserved for institutions, accredited investors, and people with the right connections.

The problem isn’t necessarily a lack of opportunities.

It’s access.

PIPO is approaching this through tokenized digital notes that provide structured rights connected to private-company equity, while linking those digital instruments to underlying legal and financial structures.

So instead of simply putting an asset on-chain, PIPO is working on the infrastructure around it.

Ownership.
Verification.
Compliance.
Custody.
Transfers.
Liquidity.

And liquidity is especially interesting.

Private investments can traditionally tie up capital for years, with investors waiting for an IPO, acquisition, or another liquidity event.

But it introduces the possibility of more flexibility in a market historically known for being illiquid.

Because tokenization only becomes meaningful when the digital asset remains connected to the real-world asset and the legal structure behind it.

That’s what I find most interesting about PIPO.

I’ve spent enough time around crypto to know that putting something on-chain doesn’t automatically make it better.

The technology matters when it solves a real problem.

For private markets, those problems are clear:

Access.
Transparency.
Liquidity.
Settlement.
Verification.

PIPO is building around those challenges while bringing private-market exposure closer to the on-chain economy.

And this is where the broader RWA story gets interesting.

Tokenization doesn’t have to stop at real estate or treasury assets.

Private-company exposure can also become part of a financial system where real-world assets and rights interact with programmable blockchain infrastructure.

If that transition continues, private markets could become one of the biggest frontiers for tokenization.

That’s why I’m watching @pipo_stocks.

Not simply because it uses blockchain.

Not because Pre-IPO sounds exciting.

But because it is tackling a market where access and liquidity have been problems for a very long time.

The public market is only one chapter of a company’s journey.

PIPO is building around what happens before that chapter begins.

Private markets with digital rails.
Real-world assets with on-chain infrastructure.
Pre-IPO exposure with a potential liquidity layer.

That’s a much bigger story than simply putting stocks on-chain.
