The Dodgers should absolutely go after Teruaki Sato instead of signing a version of late-career CC Sabathia like Tarik Skubal.

Sato is a testosterone-fueled, hard-nosed tough guy — exactly the kind of player you want in your lineup.

Forget adding another big-bodied pitcher who’s carrying extra weight. Give me the jacked, high-motor Japanese slugger who plays 3rd base and outfield.

American baseball fans should make a note of the name Teruaki Sato.

Last year he was the NPB Central League MVP and the home run king. This season, through 78 games, he’s putting up ridiculous numbers:

.340 batting average, 17 home runs, 1.048 OPS, and .628 slugging.

He’s expected to make the jump to MLB after this season.

If you look at what Kazuma Okamoto and Munetaka Murakami have done in the first half of the 2026 MLB season, it’s pretty safe to say Sato is going to come over and produce right away.

He plays third base and the outfield, so the Dodgers look like the strongest landing spot. Keep an eye on this guy — he’s the real deal.

欧州のクラブチームでプレーする日本人選手がますます増えていき、今ではJリーグを経由せずに、高校卒業と同時に欧州に行く選手も多いです。

日本サッカー協会は2050年までにW杯優勝を目標に掲げていますが、実現すると思います。
