The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty;
He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy;
He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing.
Praise God, from Whom all blessings flow;
Praise Him, all creatures here below.
Praise Him above ye heavenly host;
Praise Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
Praise God with morning's breaking light;
Praise Him through darkness of the night,
Praise Him with every breath of life.
Praise Him, my soul, with all your might.
Praise God, when face to face we see
The One who died to set us free;
The One who rose in victory.
Praise now forever Christ our King!
Praise the Father, praise the Son,
Praise the Spirit now with us.
Every moment, all our days,
God be praised, oh, God be praised!

@revivalistross Praise God for new brothers and sisters! Praise Jesus for drawing them closer than any brother to Him! Praise the Holy Spirt for indwelling them and never leaving them and bringing them ever closer to the perfection Jesus has prepared for them since before time and space!
@real_bechambers Good Afternoon and Happy Saturday to you Danny. That is an excellent choice for a favorite movie! Now I will have to watch that again. Y'all take care and have a wonderful evening.
I think emotions underpin all deep relationships more than thought does. Thought is derivative to emotion. Thought in the practical sense is based upon solving problems by logical calculation, but in the sense of relational meaning, thought is applied in the attempt to describe what emotion fully experiences without the need of symbolic thought. You try to figure out how to put "love" into symbolic coherency, or "kindness", or "lust", or "hate", or , "courage", or "cowardice" and so on, but you do not have the logical abstractions of emotions first and then cultivate them into authentic emotion. No language is needed for emotion to be fully experienced.
"Love", "grief", "anger", "joy", "happiness", "despair", these are words that were created to describe what already was before them. This is not to belittle the value of thought! It is to recognize what is the most sublime conduit of relation between us the created and our Father, the Sovereign, Christ, our Savior and Creator of all that is, and the Holy Spirit, our great Helper who calls us out of our sin and to our Savior and who helps us conform to Him in love and loyalty.
With emotion, you are the subject and God's perfect love for his creatures and creation is the object, God's perfect aesthetics is the object, God's perfect justice is the object, God's perfect mercy is the object. You are not like Him because you have thoughts that are like some of His thoughts, though you do--He wants a complete, personal relationship with us and He will have it or we will be cast out. Whatever we might experience here through obedience, faith, devotion to Him is incomprehensibly less than what we will experience in personal relationship to Him eternally.
But do you imagine for a moment that you will be in the presence of God worshipping Him, and that it will be your thoughts that are dominant in the experience over your emotions? Too many times, reading the Bible finds me at intellectual odds with God about morality. I know I am wrong but cannot understand how or why. But His love, His sweetness to me, His mercy to me, His forgiveness and kindness to me allows me to overcome my thoughts and have faith. He doesn't chiefly relate to me as a mentor to a protege, or a master to a student--though those are legitimate aspects of the personal relationship He intends to have with me--but as a husband to a wife, as a father to a son, as a loving guide lighting the way in the utmost dark to the utterly lost.
Satisfaction or loss through physicality may seem like fullness or privation, until, again, you experience what was represented in physicality through intense emotional meaning. Then, you become aware that the physical analog is empty or depraved without attending to healthy emotion or it is superabundantly fulfilled when attuned to its proper emotional purpose. Again it is not the rational and empirical that gives wonderous meaning to the physical but the emotional which grants righteous pleasure through the senses.
The Bible in its entirety is God-breathed. It is good down to every last paragraph, every last word, every last sentence. You are in part rejecting the Father, Christ Jesus, and the Holy Spirit when you declare otherwise. I do not presume you mean to.
Please read 2 Timothy 3 and 2 Peter 1. Please ask God to help you to deeply consider upon 2 Timothy 3:16 and 2 Peter 1:16-21.
Please keep in mind that what people think "prophecy" means now is a very narrow aspect of the totality of what "prophecy" meant to the writers of the New Testament and the believers of the early Church. Prophecy is much more than "predicting future events", it is the Holy Spirit manifested revelation of something Christ intends for us to know, in order to know Him, follow Him, love Him, please Him, and share His Gospel with the world, for the salvation of their eternal being.
I hope God will bless you, and your loved ones.
@Sneketoshi These are truly delightful. I thank God for blessing you with a gift to express His beauty, and I thank God for allowing me to see them. Helped ease my heart a little. You have my gratitude.
💔 Last Sunday, Mercy Full Project Rescue in Tampa, Florida hosted a mini adoption event for Red.
A few other pups came too, but somehow every dog found a home that day except Red. 😔
Red is 6 years old, about 12 lbs, potty trained, affectionate, cuddly, and happiest relaxing with his people.
He can get anxious and vocal in busy public settings, but at home he is calm, easygoing, and full of love.
Red is not looking for adventure. He is just looking for someone to choose him.
Please share his story. His forever family may be one share away. ❤️🐾
