This year, let's normalise saying "Things are hard and expensive in Lagos, and not in the country. Because things are not the same everywhere o. Tell me why tomatoes of 1000 in Lagos is 300 to 500 in other cities (in relatively large quantity)?
I recently traveled to a state in the South West, and guess what? I bought 28 big-sized onions for just ₦4,000, compared to the ₦25,000 price tag in Lagos! Shocking, right?
That experience made me realize how living in Lagos and other big cities is often a facade.
