Bud Cauley made a pretty significant switch earlier this year at the PGA, moving to the @ScottyCameron center-shafted GoLo putter. He just earned his first ever PGA Tour win in his 239th start on Tour. Great playing Bud, especially after everything he’s been through!

Rickie Fowler and Gary Woodland have started a little run of players moving to center-shafted Scotty Cameron GoLo putters.

Bud Cauley added this putter at the Truist Championship last month and this week and was 5th in the field in SG: Putting with 6.7 for the week.

J.T. Poston also opened up the floodgates for Titleist's GTS drivers as that's now back-to-back wins. Cauley was one of the first conversions to the GTS2 back at the Valero Texas Open in March.

Was only a matter of time before GTS driver hit the winner's circle with more than 65 players on the PGA Tour currently gaming one.

Thirty years ago, @OSUCowboyGolf beat Tiger Woods and Stanford in the 1995 #NCAAGolf final in Columbus, Ohio. On that team was current Cowboys coach @OSUBratton and Trip Kuehne.

On the night before that final match, Kuehne found a sticky note posted to his hotel room door that read, “BELIEVE IN DESTINY.” He wrote it on his golf ball that next day, and down a man after their teammate Leif Westerberg left after 72 holes to fly to the British Am, Kuehne helped the Cowboys to sudden-death playoff win.

Writing the definitive gamer that evening was legendary Golfweek writer Ron Balicki, who died from cancer in 2014.

And as it turned out, Balicki was the one who left the note.

Bratton shared that story with this year’s team last night before their victory over Virginia on Wednesday at La Costa. It inspired Ethan Fang to write “B.I.D.” on his ball. Fang earned a point in the 4-1 triumph as OSU realized their destiny with a 12th national championship.

Kuehne was in attendance to watch it.
