@TC70822431@The7Line I’m in the exact same boat. Moved the 20 game plan two years ago, but was previously a full or half Season since 2016. Feel like I lose a lot next year, along with much higher prices, but I’m still not clear on it as it’s so confusing to read.
Next year will be my 2⃣5⃣th season as a @Mets ticket plan holder but guaranteed access to Opening Day has always been my #1 perk so this change is extremely disappointing. Just spoke to my ticket rep who was apologetic but she knows it sucks too. Hmph. #LGM
Naively assumed that the @Mets would try to sweeten the pot for season ticket plan holders in 2024, but I just got my renewal package and they have actually made it worse. No Opening Day in my 20-game plan and fewer potential postseason tickets?? That really sucks. #LGM
@The7Line The Mets should be ashamed of themselves. 20 game plan holders DO NOT get both opening day and Yankee game anymore, one or the other. Six crappy weeknight games with Saturday package. No Friday night games. Tenure meant nothing. I’ve been a plan holder since 2016. I’m at bottom
@EvanRobertsWFAN My 20 game package stayed the same in price but they now only give you access to either Opening Day or a Subway Series game. Additionally they changed my access from a half strip of playoff tickets to a quarter strip. I’m leaning toward opting out
The New York Mets are hiring David Stearns as president of baseball operations, sources familiar with the situation tell ESPN.
A monumental addition to the organization, Stearns, 38, will take over officially once the regular season is over. The new era of the Mets begins soon.
