@ViaplaySportsUK Your “Fouls suffered” stat is rather judgmental … wouldn’t “Fouls committed” - ie. free kicks given away - be a more meaningful thing to report on?

@SimonFanshawe In order to facilitate change there has to be a clear roadmap, pointedly showing ‘we are here - warts & all’ and ‘This is where we aspire to be, by when, and how’. One can’t start that journey without establishing a cogent baseline.

#bbcfootball Reducing the number of teams in the EPL simply won’t happen because the teams would lose 2 home-gates of ticket income. Let’s also not forget that *this* season is an unusually lengthy one due to the World Cup pausing play for nearly 6 weeks in Nov/Dec.

@sarajcox I used to be a volunteer (ie. unpaid) Volunteer Coordinator - 3 days a week, managing volunteers in a community centre in Leamington Spa. I *did* get free brews and lunches for my troubles. DBS checks… I don’t miss doing them, for sure!
