BREAKING: Jeff Gordon, Kurt Busch, Bobby Labonte, Rusty Wallace, Bill Elliott, Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves, and Dario Franchitti will compete in a special IROC exhibition race during the IndyCar Freedom 250 Grand Prix weekend on Aug. 22.

The motorsports legends will race authentic IROC Pontiac Firebirds that competed in the series from 1996 through 2006.

🚨NEWS: van der Steur Racing has closed its operations, effective immediately. The team will now be known as YRB Racing and run the as the No. 068 in the WeatherTech SportsCar Championship.

The new program will also continue VDSR’s Michelin Pilot Challenge efforts as well, all under the Aston Martin banner.

Formula E unveiled there 26/27 season schedule this morning, along with sporting changes for next year.

The new additions to the calendar include:

🇺🇸 Austin (COTA)
🇳🇱 Netherlands (Zandvoort)
🇬🇧 New London Circuit (Brands Hatch)

Also new is the format of the race weekends:

~ Single-race weekends will feature a 45-minute race format, continuing to be referred to as E-Prixs.

~ Doubleheader weekends will see both an E-Prix, plus the debut of “E-PrixUnleashed,” a 30-minute sprint race.

~ Furthermore, more qualifying points will be awarded during the session.
