Members who remain in default for two consecutive years risk suspension, while those in default for three consecutive years may be delisted from the Institute’s register.

All outstanding subscriptions should be regularized on or before 31 March 2026, as these measures will take effect from 1 April 2026.

If you are writing Advanced Audit & Assurance in the ICAN May 2026 diet exams brace yourself.

You will be tested.

If you think you are going to write a few lines for 5 marks, you are wrong.

In May 2025 diet there was a question on IAASB's Clarity Project for 8 marks.

It says "Prepare a brief statement on the IAASB's Project and the updates to the background of the project for discussion with the client"

To answer this question, you are expected to discuss

- Background to the Clarity Project
- Objective of the Clarity Project
- IAASB Clarity Project Update
- Key points from the Clarity Update
- Improvements to Clarified ISAs
