There are lots of stories about how overwhelmed Shifa Hospital in Gaza City is.
Nothing wrong with that, of course. But shouldn't the articles mention a couple of relevant facts about Shifa?
1. It has been used as the de facto headquarters of Hamas, using all the patients as human shields. This was known in 2014, and reported by the @washingtonpost .
2. It appears to have remained a terror hub in the 2021 war, as terror tunnels terminated at the hospital.
3. Amnesty in 2021 reported that the hospital was used by Hamas to torture and murder dissidents.
If you are going to report about the hospital @NPR@NBCNews@SkyNews@nytimes , aren't these facts that show how little Hamas cares about its own citizens a tiny bit relevant? Hamas has made the hospital itself into a military target. Isn't that newsworthy?
We have just obtained what appears to be a leaked email written by CBC (Canadian Broadcast Corp) employee George Achi instructing reporters to:
1. not to mention Gaza has not been occupied since 2005
2. not refer to Palestinian terrorists as terrorists
If true, this employee, must be fired.
@cdube_sante LA cause de la surcharge de patients sur civière à l’urgence est la fermeture de lits d’étage par manque de nursing. Ce n’est pas un problème de manque d’espace physique…
To all #radiologists.
Have you seen the typical #COVID pulmonary vasculopathy on CXR/CT in the last week?
We've not seen this since omicron became dominant Feb '22. I'm concerned we have a new variant which causes the same clotting in the lungs as delta/pre-delta.
