The entire structure of the military operation was based on precise intelligence, complete secrecy, and strict military discipline. This was military order. It was a professional and lawful military operation, conducted in accordance with international law, including the Law of War (International Humanitarian Law), carried out under the Geneva Conventions and UN General Assembly resolutions that reaffirm the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination, national liberation, and freedom from foreign occupation by all available means, including armed struggle.

Operation Al-Aqsa Flood was a precise, lawful, and professional military operation, the result of years of intelligence work, extreme military training, and years of surveillance. The Palestinian Resistance Forces will be studied in detail in military training and intelligence studies across the world.

The Martyred Commander and member of the General Military Council of the Al-Qassam Brigades, Izz al-Din al-Haddad (May Allah have mercy on him), said:
“We seized information that revealed to us the enemy’s plans and timing for a devastating war on the Gaza Strip days before October 7. The enemy’s plan was to launch a surprise air attack that would include targeting all resistance factions, followed by a large and destructive ground attack. Al-Aqsa Flood is a preemptive military operation. The Qassam Security Intelligence Unit hacked into one of the servers of the IOF Unit 8200 and seized information and documents from the occupation.”

The Intelligence and Security units of the Al-Qassam Brigades, along with the Joint Operation Room, infiltrated the most sensitive, top-secret sectors of the Zionist terrorist genocidal entity, including its terrorist IOF, Shin Bet, and Mossad terror networks. They succeeded in breaching what is considered the most protected and heavily fortified intelligence and military systems on Earth.

In January 2025, the Al-Qassam Brigades revealed just how vast their intelligence network had become. They exposed that over 100,000 IOF terrorists and high-command “officers” were monitored.

Zionist media themselves admitted it: Al-Qassam and the Resistance knew the bases better than the IOF. They knew which base to hit, who would be inside, how long it would take to breach, and when the Iron Dome system would be blind.

In November 2025, the IOF even said:
“Hamas’ intelligence capabilities left us no room to maneuver. Hamas knew our bases better than we did.”

Our Shaykh Abu Salman حفظه الله ونفعنا بعلومه said:

The people of the Qiblah have agreed that the kufr-inducing action—in statement and deed—when it occurs, its perpetrator is a kāfir, whether he is knowledgeable of the ruling or ignorant of it.

However, they differed into two sayings:

The First Saying: That the ignorant person is a kāfir in the rulings of this world and the Hereafter. This is the saying of Ahl as-Sunnah, the Murji'ah of the fuqahā, the Karrāmiyyah, the Khawārij, the majority of the Mu‘tazilah, and most of the sects ascribing to Islam.

The Second Saying: That he is a kāfir in the rulings of this world, but not in the rulings of the Hereafter. This is the saying of the Jahmiyyah, the Ṣāliḥiyyah, the Thumāmiyyah, the Jāḥiẓiyyah, the Rāwandiyyah, the Ashā‘irah, and the Māturīdiyyah.

The Jahmiyyah, the Ṣāliḥiyyah, and the Ashā‘irah reasoned that kufr is none other than ignorance of Allah or denial and rejection. The action, like prostrating to an idol, is not kufr in itself, except that it only manifests from a kāfir. Allah has declared the one who does that to be a kāfir, and the Muslims have agreed that this kufr only comes from a kāfir. Accordingly, the one who commits kufr is a kāfir in the rulings of this world, but he may be a believer in the rulings of the Hereafter, because apparent kufr does not necessitate the negation of inner Imān—which is knowledge of Allah, or affirmation of Him—in their view.

Abū al-Ḥasan al-Ash‘arī (d. 324 AH) said in his Maqālāt:
"And Jahm claimed that there is no kufr except ignorance, and no kāfir except one ignorant of Allah, and that the statement of the one who says: (Allah is the third of three) is not kufr in itself, but it only manifests from a kāfir; because we have come to know that whoever says that is a kāfir."

Al-Ash‘arī narrated from Abū al-Ḥusayn aṣ-Ṣāliḥī that he said:
"The statement of the one who says: (Indeed, Allah is the third of three) is not kufr in itself, but it only manifests from a kāfir. That is: because Allah, has declared the one who says that to be a kāfir, and the Muslims have agreed that no one says it except a kāfir."

He narrated from Ibn ar-Rāwandī his saying:
"Prostrating to the sun is not kufr in itself, but it is a sign of kufr; because Allah, ‘azza wa jall, has shown us that no one prostrates to the sun except a kāfir."

The Ashā‘irah said: "Prostrating to the sun or an idol and what is similar to that are among the signs of kufr, even if it is not kufr in itself if it is not accompanied by the heart's conviction of kufr. Whoever does something from that, we apply to him the ruling of the people of kufr, even if we do not know his inner kufr."

If it is said: How did they rule the ignorant person to be a kāfir, when he is not described by kufr in reality according to their school of thought?

It is said: The Ashā‘irah and the Rāwandiyyah say: "We know that he has rejection (juḥd) of Allah, even if he denies that and claims to affirm; because the Ummah has agreed that he is a kāfir, and has ruled that upon him, so we know that he has rejection, for otherwise we would not have ruled him to be a kāfir."

Jahm and aṣ-Ṣāliḥī answered by saying: "Whoever manifests the actions that necessitate kufr, we know that he has ignorance of Allah, by which he deserved to be a kāfir..."

The Thumāmiyyah and the Jāḥiẓiyyah reasoned that whoever manifests kufr is not to be doubted in his kufr in this world, even if he is not a kāfir in the Hereafter, just as one does not doubt the Islam of the one who manifests Islam, even if he is not a Muslim in the Hereafter.

And the claimants to Salafiyyah, who are the majority of those ascribing to the Sunnah in our time, say: Whoever manifests kufr, intending and choosing, is not a kāfir in this world nor in the Hereafter, if he is not obstinate, because the ignorant one is excused, and he is among the people of Imān and Tawḥīd in this world and the Hereafter. They reasoned that apparent kufr does not nullify inner Imān, and if it does not nullify Imān, then Imān and kufr have not coexisted in the person, and if kufr has not truly been established in him, then he is not a kāfir, neither in this world nor in the Hereafter.

This is a level of kufr more severe than the levels of Jahm, al-Jāḥiẓ, and aṣ-Ṣāliḥī. Undoubtedly, we do not count it among the sayings of the people of the Qiblah, so recognize it and beware of it.

Summary:
All sects declare the one who manifests kufr, intending and choosing, a kāfir in the rulings of this world, whether he is ignorant or knowledgeable, except for the zanādiqah of the age from the claimants to Salafiyyah and their like.
