@eclipse_cmd I feel like I have to include this: people are allowed to dislike a game or parts of a game, its not a crime and you dont have to take it personal.

@eclipse_cmd The game's been "childified" with the vibrant colours, brainrot thumbnails since (besides the hardcore one). Also the "battle pass" got a paid track and filled with slop.
@thymewarp2_2@HikariAki_ I wasnt talking about the map of admin abuse, I was talking about the admin abuse event itself AND the vibrant visuals the game has now (besides hardcore now)
@Tdsenjoyer153@ume1230_77@eclipse_cmd So old TDS wasnt neccesarily worse than the current one, but not anywhere near the 2k playercount (which tds was within the last 2-3 years if I remember correctly).
@Tdsenjoyer153@ume1230_77@eclipse_cmd I wasnt looking for "peak playercount", I was looking for average playercount 2020-2022, before the start of the "re-branding"
@Tdsenjoyer153@eclipse_cmd We do get more skins, but the desirable ones are locked behind a paywall. If there had been no other rewards then I'd probably get it, but the fodder rewards that dont really help anybody stretch out the already repetetive grind.
@Tdsenjoyer153@ume1230_77@eclipse_cmd I started during the eclipse event and I remember the game having an consistent 20k playercount (asked grok about the avg player count) and it falling off later on.
@eclipse_cmd I just don't like the direction the game's been taken (I know they needed more players), especially with the heavier monetization with the tickets, battle pass and juggernaut. Especially battle pass being filled with fodder rewards and half of the skins being locked.
@eclipse_cmd Im not saying the game looks bad, I said it looks too vibrant. You can compare old TDS graphics however much you want and you can see the game used to have a darker tone. Game getting better is a good thing and should happen.
