This is something that most fan bases may not take into consideration when evaluating their teams.
Over the last two seasons the Panthers have a retention rate of 15%. Only 8 players remain on the active roster from 2023 and earlier. The league average range retention rate is 60-70% year over year.
While teams are continuning to build on a foundation and add talent, the Panthers have spent the last year filling positions from scratch.
How does this happen?

The hard reality is that Rhule and Fitterer were wreckless with assets and signings.
2022+2023 Draft + FA:
Only 3 players remain from those draft classes (BY9, Mays & Ickey) and 2 players FA periods (Dalton/Corbett). Another way to put it, the Panthers basically went two years without adding players to the roster.
This is why being a HC for the #Panthers in 2024 was a hard sell. You had to climb out of roster debt without the funds to do it.
