@EMUHLEET i left competing pokemon tournaments almost 10 years ago and it is a still a void i couldn‘t really fix
did my studies, tried out other games and still never returned even tho i know i have one more run in me but i don‘t feel like even trying anymore🥹

This hit hard because I don’t think enough people talk about the grief that comes after esports. I wasn't ready for that type of severe depression.

It felt a bit forced to stopped playing by lack of opportunities, support, stability, and long-term investment.

Counter-Strike has been part of more than half my life. I poured everything into it. I even tried so hard to create new opportunities like my own women’s stream team, wellness/community programs, webinars, workshops, online and in-person events... because I wanted women in esports to have something sustainable beyond just competing. But even with the experience and passion to make it happen, finding sponsorship and support was incredibly difficult.

People see moving on as something simple, but losing the thing that gave your life purpose, goals, competition, friendships, and something you were most passionate about leaves a huge void.

For now I focus on new goals and challenges, like deciding if I go for my Bachelor of Science & stream more, but there are still days where I pray I can have an opportunity to utilize all of my experience and stay within the gaming industry. 🙏 😭
