@KaijuMp4 breaking him out of frenzied state, but damage ON his head (because it's a juicy hitzone) is extremely helpful, and with how flimsy he was, it was rather common for feeler breaks to be about the same hit that knocks him out of frenzied state!
@KaijuMp4 if it feels artificial because of how big he is compared to the areas you fight him in, it's a genuine strategy to lure him to a larger and more favorable area, especially since he loves to follow when enraged. Also, I don't remember head breaking ever being related to (cont.)
@KaijuMp4 I get that. I personally heavily favor Wilds Gore's hunt, since the other two felt extremely exploitable and this one now feels like a proper threat to me
@SASMeatMan And I'm not saying it's now invalid to complain about or anything, but all sorts of people take this in the "monsters have lower stats and move slower" way which is just straight up false, often associated with disingenuous comparisons...
@SASMeatMan From the way they speak, it feels like the devs mean more of the getting-lost thing, item droprates, quest times rather than quest completions, if that makes sense. But everywhere I go, I see people soyjack pointing like "SEE?? SEE?? THEY ADMITTED IT! MY BIAS HAS BEEN CONFIRMED!"
@Mairon_Maiden@Hollow_Evolt The devs wanted to do TUs since the PS2 days btw. Because they couldn't at the time, they purposefully made certain unlocks/quests elusive as well as drops to an extreme level by High Rank. The games ship just as complete as before, they're just always thinking of the next thing
