Everyday I pick up the boys and we ride past our new house. The owner has officially moved out and we finally went in. Needless to say this one is ready for the move!

It only took him showing me 2 houses, my Issac Jay disappointed look and a what the hell is this conversation before he knew exactly what was worth showing.

Speaking of closing, let's just mention how much money you need to have up front just to pay on a 30 year mortgage.
Bruh you will get nickled and dimed you throughout. From earnest money, to inspection, to appraisal, to whatever they want to list as needed.
The biggest hurdle in the whole home buying process was arguing back and forth with the seller.
But she's cutting us a check at closing so I like her now.
Meanwhile, homeowners service your HVAC and water heater yearly like you're supposed to.
But what is yall's obsession with white kitchens. Like 85% of the homes we viewed had white kitchens. I originally had NO WHITE KITCHENS on wishlist but that left damn near no homes to view...
Though the home we bought doesn't have a white kitchen so win in my book. Lol.
Buying a home isn't as scary as I thought it would be. It was actually a fun process. Exploring different types of homes made me realize I'm more of a "nontraditional this house has character and unique features" type of buyer.
