If you can, please help support a great person and soul that is a huge contributor to the #Disney community through the toughest of times for him and his family. https://t.co/jE0qs44uEe
#EpicUniverse is the culmination of theme park design and execution. The new kid on the block is already the crowning jewel in Orlando and the destination to visit within the ultimate tourist magnet in the world. Itβs an emotional ride that delivers unmatched experiences.
DisTwitter what are the chances that we look back in 15 years and believe Disney removing Rivers of America for a Cars New Fantasyland 2.0 was actually the right decision? #Disney
@OrangeGrove55 It isnβt a great look but you should hear The Magic Carpets of Aladdin at Magic Kingdom literally screeching and no one bats an eye. Disneyβs standards generally are lower than even a decade ago.
@TGrahamMemories The main problem with this build was the budget cut of the modern building that was to be built instead we have a Frankenstein replacement building that will be fine but utilitarian when compared to what would have been.
@ParkTwister@WaltDisneyWorld I really tried my best to make sense of this. The only thing I could come up with was that it was done in order to protect the light from impacts, but even then there has to be better ways. Iβm stumped because it does appear to be an oversight in an otherwise flawless build.
@AliciaStella The big thing they need to do now IMHO is tie World Showcase in with the theming of the rest of the park. So it can finally be one cohesive theme park.
@AliciaStella And thereβs more lighting on the ground near Walt too and lighting tubes in the bushes that are I think are a nod to the fiber optic cables! π Still they should have had a plussed design tucked somewhere as a nod to the past. It would have been the easiest win ever.
@robjyeo You can definitely feel their vision for the new Epcot now but itβs certainly half baked due to the cuts. Most of the additions have been beneficial and honestly needed to have been done a decade ago but still glad to have a more modern looking park now.
When people try to sell you on the idea that Disney doing business in Florida is difficult, perhaps remember they have a theme park operating in communist China. π¨π³
