"Gotta get views somehow" is the attitude that keeps a lot of rappers losing.
If you haven't identified your target audience, have no specific goals other than just "getting views" and you dont put the music and your own identify first, there will be no long-term growth.
If a talented artist has proven that they can match my hustle, my branding, my work ethic and my network, then I reach out.
If the artist isn't there yet, I still would like to work with as many artists as possible, I just have to charge really reasonable fees to pay my bills.
Networking is when two or more people have a mutual interest in working together to benefit all parties.
It's not: Asking for a favor, meaningless small talk, asking for contact information without knowing what the person even does, bragging, trying to sell something, spamming.
I don’t want to live in a world where there’s only one GOAT... There’s like 10 GOATS imo lol... Wordplay GOAT, Storytelling GOAT, Touch ya soul GOAT, ill voice GOAT, fast rap GOAT, slow rap GOAT etc.. And few are GOATS in more than one category.
