Thank you @ZenithBank for the free money. I waited all thru yesterday after the AGM, no alert came. Was wondering if i have secretly been delisted as a shareholder, only to wake up this morning to a huge 'gbim' in my akant.
Buying shares of profitable companies is the way to go.
Each time I attend Zenith Bank's AGM, I am always delighted deep down if not elated sky-high that I am a shareholder of such an illustrious bank.
But when i visit any of their branches for transactions, especially that branch at Falomo roundabout, I begin to feel depressed.
Zenith Bank declared a final Dividend of ₦8.75 per share for the 2025 FY. This was in addition to the interim dividend of ₦1.25 declared earlier. Making total dividend for FY 2025 as ₦10.00.
Payment date is May 5, 2026. So if you have Zenith shares, expect alert today.

Hi Lawrence, I have an unsolicited advice for you.
What got you here won’t get you there.
Social media and your phone were leverage when you needed access, visibility, and opportunity.
Now they’re friction, because your next level requires depth, not exposure(you have that already).
You don’t need to “quit” them. You need to change your relationship with them.
Here’s how to break the chain:
1. Turn consumption into a scheduled activity, not a default behavior
If you don’t control when you use your phone, it will control you. Set specific windows for social media, outside of those, it’s off.
2. Separate creation from distraction
Use your phone as a tool to produce, not consume. If you open an app, it should be to post, reply, or execute, not doom scrolling.
3. Create friction on purpose
Delete the most addictive apps or log out after each use. Yes, it takes time to always login. I use X web and not mobile (6 months of the year) when I need to focus.
Make distraction inconvenient again.
4. Protect your first 2–3 hours daily
No phone in the morning. That’s your highest-leverage thinking time. Don’t donate it to algorithms.
5. Redefine what “work” feels like
The next level of your life will feel quieter, slower, and sometimes even boring. That’s not a problem that’s focus.
Your phone isn’t the enemy. Uncontrolled access is.
The same tool that built your life can still scale it, but only if you stop letting it interrupt you.
Thanks, greetings to your amazing wife.
You can't spend your life avoiding heartbreak or bad things from happening. You gotta condition yourself to have appropriate emotional responses, but learn to always keep moving forward.
