Talk with my broker to regarding this.. They told its circular regarding broker to keep proper documentation. Curbing retailer to participate in market is aganist constitution. I hope they dn't bring any circular in future like this

There is a lot of talk going on about this circular. I spoke to our broker to get more clarity on the same. I got a basic idea, I don't have full understanding of the specifics.

1) This circular is mainly for the brokers, it will not affect the traders.

2) The broker adds a code with the order ID to mark if the order has been punched through WEB or Mobile. The recent circular is about marking Algo orders in a similar way.

3) Web Mobile and API are someways how a retail client can place a order. But there are also other sources from which an order can come to the broker and one of them is algos.

4) Web Mobile or API orders don't get classified under algo orders. So it won't affect the retail clients.

5) If you have any software to place the order through API, it won't get classified as Algo.

6) Even if they are considered everything as Algo, if the broker fails to meet regulations, the fine would be for the broker and not the client.

This is out of my crude understanding after the discussion. There is obviously more to it, maybe I can try to simplify after a better understanding
