@StephStradley I used to drive 2.5 hours roundtrip just for their bacon (and about $100 of other stuff that randomly showed up in my cart). The best place w the nicest people. Glad you are pimping them!
@charliebilello@darrenrovell “But life today is so expensive, how can I afford the $200 per week to spend on Kalshi”
I would not want to be a shareholder on these stocks during a recession.
@JamieMetzl If he would’ve governed like a moderate, he would’ve been a good president. Instead he catered to those who wanted open borders and it left the country in a precarious situation, plus he gave away trillions thru govt spending to spark mass inflation.
@rich_goldberg This still goes to show the world how dug in and non-vulnerable Iran is. It is not this easy government to overthrow ala Iraq or Afghanistan. It emboldens them even if their economy is close to trash. It won’t remain that way with the ability to sell oil once again like always.
Following this thread 3 days ago, it appears we are seeing model consolidation toward less potential for storm activity in the Gulf this week, with physics-based models like EPS backing off from their earlier aggression.
The remaining risk is associated with the remnants of Tropical Storm Cristina potentially crossing Central America and regenerating in the Bay of Campeche this weekend, but the probability of tropical storm formation is looking low for now.
@realEstateTrent So if the business can’t afford rent, but he personally can, should we assume he should pay rent from his personal account? I don’t. I can see this being legit if he didn’t turn around and open the biz again in the same spot.
@ClayTravis Go to the grocery store and there’s your answer. Go to the gas pump and there’s your answer. Two staples you cant avoid in everyday life.
One could’ve been avoided by ignoring Iran. The other could’ve been helped by the president not demanding to lower rates each month.
