Working any of these in with new AI governance would be amazing.
Nobody works harder than a lazy, ambitious guy. He wants to finish as fast as possible so he can get back to his natural state of doing absolutely nothing.
If you're in an interview with Google, expect some version of “Why Google?”
And this is where a lot of people mess up because they give answers that sound like they came from the company’s About page.
“I love innovation.”
“Google changes the world.”
“I’ve always admired the company.”
That’s not terrible, but it’s not enough, because everybody interviewing there can say that. Your answer has to show why Google specifically makes sense for your background, your interests, and the role.
Talk about the product or team that interests you. Talk about the scale of the problems. Talk about how your previous work connects to what the role needs. Make it feel like the next chapter in your career story.
Because “I want to work at Google because Google is Google” is not really an answer.
That gives the company too much power in the conversation.

Today we're announcing LevelUp: a free, four-week training program that takes people with no prior experience and prepares them to work as fiber technicians on data center construction sites across the US.
We built this program with CBRE because the fiber technician field, and the broader construction industry, is facing a nationwide shortage at a time when data center demand is higher than ever.
How it works:
🔧 Classroom instruction, hands-on labs + team activities covering transferable technical skills
🎓 Graduates have the opportunity to work at Meta's US construction sites through our contractor network
🤝 Open to everyone from recent high school grads to mid-career professionals
Since 2010, Meta's data center projects have supported 30,000+ skilled trade jobs during construction + 5,000+ permanent operational roles. LevelUp is about building the pipeline to keep that going.
