I'll be careful with my wording, but after playing a lot of matches, I'm starting to see players discovering the meta formations. When a lower-rated team like mine (71 OVR) comes up against a stronger squad, the advantage can feel quite significant.
It's honestly making me feel like I need to buy packs (no time to play more) because I'm starting to feel left behind. I may end up doing so, and if I do, it's because I believe these developers deserve the support for what they've built so far.
That said, I hope the game continues to reward skill and tactical decision-making as much as team strength, because that's what keeps the competition fun and fair for everyone.
À part les récompenses du mode Knock Out y’a un autre moyen d’avoir des cartes bleus ?
J me retrouve à affronter des TOP100 avec 4-5 cartes violettes et full bleu alors que j’ai cette équipe de clebard je souffre 🥲
@1fyouretooshy_@NepentheZ You want them to buff more pace? I agree with physics though, but my lowered rated players are getting cooked by fast paced dribblers.
@EAcrusader@EASFCDirect For me, everything changed after FIFA 18. That's when I left the gameplay team at FC. I had seen enough of what was happening behind the scenes, and I no longer believed things were moving in the right direction. At some point, I decided I couldn't be part of it anymore.
You are talking about FC right?
I think GOALS already has a better football foundation. It's more manual, requires more skill, and I feel like my decisions matter more. It's definitely not perfect, but I enjoy the direction they're taking. What I also appreciate is that the developers seem to be listening to community feedback, and that's a huge positive for me. We can disagree, but I respect your opinion.
I said there was some input delay, that secondary press was overpowered, and that lobbed through balls were too strong, but some people didn't believe me.
Now it's becoming clear that these guys are actually playing the game the way it's supposed to be played and are seeing the same issues.
FC employees should take note. You can't properly evaluate gameplay if you're not experiencing the game the same way your most dedicated players do.
Bravo to these guys 🤝👏
This is the kind of analysis I used to do while working on the FC Gameplay team.
This was one of the cases I came across in Goals, and it was immediately clear to me that Secondary Press was overpowered. In this situation, the secondary defender should not be able to win the ball from the opponent.
I raised this concern with the FC producers at the time, but most of them disagreed. The Goals team, however, recognized the issue right away and are now working on a fix.
@DansOnThePitch Passing can be improved for sure. I wish there was at least an option to choose semi-assisted settings, to have more control of the direction.
@DansOnThePitch Skill move spam not sure about that one. I only had one guy doing that to me, and it was my fault, but mostly I have been defending them. In this game you have to be very precise and read the attacker.
🚨 Open World looks alot better than what it looked like in the Alpha testing a few months ago.
I think this mode might be a success in EA FC 27 and beyond. 👀
