After a root canal treatment the next day, I finally started to get better and the nerve pain settled down. Thanks Dr. Van West @dentalclinicsbeesd for the quick help! 🙏

Anyway, I’m happy that I can get back to work now. I’ve missed putting in the work, trying to get better, the excitement of competition, the cool experiences of playing on the @dpworldtour 🏌️‍♂️

Early May I went to the dentist to see if there was anything going on there… and finally something clear was found. A problem with an inflamed nerve on the left side, causing severe referral pain to the neck and head on the left.

It’s been a rough few weeks for me lately with injury keeping me out of competition. Glad to say the problems are finally over, and for the last 10 days I’ve been able to pick up training again. I’m excited to come back at our HOME OPEN next week 🇳🇱 @klm_open 🏌️‍♂️ 🧵

Midway through April I started to feel better and was able to practice a little bit again, but several days later the pain moved to the left side of my neck and head, and became much worse. I again saw the physio, chiropractor, accupuncturist, multiple times but nothing helped.
