The circular economy initiative is interesting, in our region we skip that intermediate step and go straight to Bitcoin as money.
THB ➜ BTC ➜ MMK or USD ➜ BTC ➜ MMK.
The circular economies will like have to be natural evolutions, not forced.
Another inspiring Bitcoin story
Buena Vista, Colorado is becoming a new Bitcoin hub
* already 19 businesses onboarded already (more than Colorado Spings)
* Chamber of Commerce actively promoting it
* Feedback from businesses (who were not bitcoiners) includes:
"Our instore sales have increased, and 20% of our sales are now in Bitcoin"
"it feels cleaner"
"it feels more natural"
"1 in 8 of our sales are now in Bitcoin"
How did this happen?
One person who in his spare time doing something we can all do - talking to people with a mindset of service.
Luke Cortese(@ABCundrstandBTC) is the honeybadger who has been behind this incredible story.
But it gets better

AND
He's open sourcing the model so other small towns across the country can start onboarding new businesses. He's already gotten enquiries from neighboring towns, and states.
Running my first Umbrel node, opening a Lightning channel, setting up my first home miner, and figuring out every hardware wallet—I learned it all from this guy.
Huge respect to @BTCsessions, the ultimate teacher of the Bitcoin community for the past decade. Thank you for guiding us down the rabbit hole. Here’s to the next 10 years! 🍻
My ultimate goal? To keep building hard enough so that one day, @SmashFiOfficial gets its own tutorial video on his channel. Keep stacking!
Strike was named to USA Today's America's Best Customer Service in Financial Services 2026.
It's an honor to be on the list. But serving Bitcoiners with the support they deserve is the honor of a lifetime.
Thank you to every Strike customer who made this possible.
There's a real conversation happening about how tax policy hits working people.
Worth adding to it: every bitcoin transaction, no matter how small, is currently taxable. A de minimis exemption would help millions of people use bitcoin as money.
