this happened at Orange County Florida USA on the 26th of August 2023 where a man named Hassan Adeyemo shot his wife during an heated argument. When the security personel gets there, the wife was found dead and thehusband has been arrested to face a charge of 1st degree murder

Because he has her convinced that if she tries he will hurt or kill her or her family. Because he has threatened to tell the judge that she is a bad mom and will take away her kids and she will never see them again. Because he has taken away her money and convinced her that she has no good job qualities to make it on her own financially and she will always need him.

More people are concerned with why women stay in abusive relationships than why men are abusing women. Unless you’ve been in an abusive relationship people have no idea how hard it is to escape. Abusers are able to fool those outside the home because they usually only abuse those inside the home.

They need your support.
They need your love.
They do not need your judgement.

This tweet in the attached screenshot gave me a clue to understand that section 134(2) better now.

Having 25% of votes in FCT is not compulsory. I will explain.

Nigeria has 36 states and a Federal Capital Territory.

The FCT has only six LGA and never considered as a state. It does not have the same status as a state of the Federation.

Now, let's visualize a Venn diagram or a Set in Maths.

A = the 36 states of Nigeria
B = FCT

A = {Abia, Anambra, ...., Zamfara}
B = {FCT}

A U B = {Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, FCT, ..., Zamfara}

A U B = A union B

Section 134(2)

The candidate must have 25% of votes in 24 states out of the 36 states of the Federation and the FCT.

If only FCT was regarded as a state, the exclusive emphasis placed on it with the conjunction "and" would not have been considered.

Having not regarded FCT as a state, the constitution can not say, "25% of votes in 24 states out of the 37 states.", so it says "25% of votes in 24 states out of all states and the FCT"

Now, we would use Set Union and then a random sampling of 24 states out of the 36 states, and FCT.

After the union, you would get a new set, I will call it C.

A U B = C
C = {Abia, Anambra, Delta, Ebonyi, Edo, Enugu, FCT, Gombe, ..., Zamfara}

There are now 37 elements inside set C.
States and the FCT make up the 37 elements.

A candidate must have 25% of votes in 24 items in set C.

So a candidate can get 25% of votes in 24 items in set C, it doesn't matter whether the 24 items include FCT or not. As long as the states he got 25% are up to 24, then he's good to go.

Whether he gets 25% in 23 states and the FCT, he is also good to go because by their union, they've become of equal status - states.

Having been following the election process and the tribunal proceedings, studied the cross-examination and defences, the 1999 constitution, the Electoral Act, 2011 and the Evidence Act, 2011; I am convinced that the judgment delivered by the tribunal Justices was very much in order.

Sir, how can the PDP Lawyer, Enahoro present an evidence, the alleged Guinean passport of Tinubu and when asked its authenticity, he said he got it from the internet. Sir, does this make sense?

How can a lawyer not know how to verify the authenticity of documents? Was it not to be confirmed by the custodian of the document?

Now imagine LP presented a case of 18,088 blurred copies they printed from IREV portal. What happened to the duplicate hardcopies given to their agents at the PUs? According to section 93 of our Electoral Act, 2022; what were the procedures outlined for the collation of results by INEC?

How can LP Lawyers be talking about blurred IREV copies which were secondary data when we have the CTCs, and their agents, their duplicate hardcopies?

Is it the issue of 25% votes in FCT?
The constitution takes precedence over the Electoral Act and based on section 134(2) of the 1999 constitution, FCT was given the status of a state and no special treatment for its voters. Scoring 25% of votes in at least 24 states out of 37 states was in order as that was the interquartile range, and the standard deviation which represent the national spread of the voting population.

In terms of rigging, yes, there was rigging but how substantial enough was the amount of rigging recorded?
Honestly, it's not substantial enough to call for the cancellation of the election.
