One church leader in Ukraine told our team that his biggest fear is that if they’re occupied they will not be able to worship freely. He said death would be better than to be told they could not openly talk of God. May we all have that same conviction! God bless & protect them.
@jgcarey80@SenTedCruz I’m asking a govt policy question. Context. What could our govt have done to mitigate this so that people do not have to needlessly suffer.
@jgcarey80@SenTedCruz I do not doubt Putin unstable ...however , my original question is: what specific advantage is it for the US if Ukraine joins NATO? That idea is not original to me...several have asked that specific question
@jgcarey80@SenTedCruz looking at it from a Nat. security perspective. Ukraine joining NATO put NATO troops (including US) on the border of Russia. Russians would likely interpret that as a threat to their national security (whether founded or not). We (USA) would not tolerate a Russian base in Cuba
Prayers for Ukraine tonight:
1. Lives to be spared.
2. The church to be preserved.
3. Ukrainians to resist.
4. The world to rally to their aid.
5. The Russians to be repelled.
6. Putin to be deposed.
7. The US to awaken. We are a nation adrift; may this jolt us.

Wrote a post about Puritan preaching... much to learn from their faithful legacy. These men preached for God's glory, not their own. I think we need some of that.
