@Softykjr Totally agree, no energy whatsoever.

[Washington Football @UW_Football]

📚According to U.S. News, UW is No. 12 in the world on the 2026-27 rankings, No. 3 among U.S. public institutions. Bow Down to Washington 🙌🐺

[Jeff Argens @DadArgens]

@UW_WSoccer @UWAthletics Best trainer ever. Thank you for taking such great care of our daughter

[Jeff Argens @DadArgens]

@BrockHuard I hope the coaches and players don’t allow him to be a team captain.

[Jeff Argens @DadArgens]

@Softykjr Great analysis!

[Dave “Softy” Mahler @Softykjr]

There was absolutely zero chance the Mariners were going to match this

[Juanita Broaddrick @atensnut]

Good times.

[Tony Castricone @Castricone]

Once again, I'm obviously biased. (So is everyone.) But AP voters getting defensive does nothing to refute the obvious gap between computer ratings (read: consistently applied principles capable of integrating massive datasets) and human voters of any kind: CFP committee, AP or coaches (flawed, biased, with extreme limits to how much information can be considered when being asked to split hairs)

Washington Huskies ranking in computer ratings by:
@bcfremeau: 19th
Sagarin: 19th
@masseyratings: 19th
@ColleyMatrix: 26th
@statsowar: 22nd (Team Strength)
@statsowar: 17th (per play)
@espn FPI: 21st
ESPN SP+: 15th
ESPN SOR: 24th

Washington Huskies in the @AP_Top25: 31st

AP poll started in 1936 because back then, the best anyone could do would be ask a bunch of writers for their opinions based on a few paragraphs about each game in the newspaper. We've got better options now.

I'm not saying writers don't know anything. I'm not saying anyone's stupid. I'm not even saying UW will definitely end the season worthy of a Top 25 ranking. Lots of football left. We'll see. I'm simply pointing out, in MY opinion, on behalf of a fanbase that knows they deserved a national championship in 1984 and a Heisman winner in 2023, but were denied that because of the opinions of the almighty appointed ones, that once again, there seems to be a large discrepancy between the data and the popular opinions in the same familiar direction.

[Jeff Argens @DadArgens]

@Softykjr Feels as though we’re definitely getting out coached from a coordinator standpoint

[Jeff Argens @DadArgens]

@Softykjr Clearly not his day!

[Sara Mosiman @42SaraMo]

So, so amazing to see this project come to life… this team and this program has earned it. Thank you @SKellyUW and everyone at @UWAthletics who championed this effort. And thank you to all that show up, support, and give to this team. Go Dawgs!!!

"The AP Poll is such a joke."

@joelklatt expresses his frustration with the AP Poll after @UW_Football received zero votes.

[Dave “Softy” Mahler @Softykjr]

Traffic in this region is absurd.

Gas prices are absurd.

The people that run this place have messed this up so bad it's embarrassing

Thank you.
