Genuine question? Do your drivers know their actual route? Or do they just decide to skip stops or entire sections of their route and people standing in -20 weather and late to their work, for fun? The 299 limebank just simply drove past

@OC_TranspoHelps @OC_Transpo This is why I’m replying to an older thread, since it’s the same stop and same route at the same time. 299 Limebank, at the corner of Atrium Ridge and River Road. Bus time is normally 6:30. The bus was 10 mins late.

@OC_TranspoHelps @OC_Transpo Different day yet same behaviour. The 299 was 10 mins late and almost ignored my exact same stop, because he was speeding so much. Had to wave and he saw me at the very last min and stopped the bus way past the actual stopped. If there was the car behind, it would have crashed

This isn’t the fist time. There was a period of construction where the 299 was rerouted via Cambie, but the routinely skipped the entire section. Took me a while to realize this. Luckily that wasn’t my stop

@CBCNews I bought a bouse exactly 2 years ago. Instead of looking for a even lower variable rate, I went with slightly higher fixed. It’s unfortunate that people are struggling but what this tells me that people got greedy, and decided to go with variable instead of a fixed 5y.
