@LoochyTV I don’t think so. Arc is a pretty special case. Who really knows at the end of the day but I think it’ll be much more Delta Force/Marathon than Arc. It’ll be a bigger extraction shooter because of the brand but I don’t think they’ll be similar.
@itsDkal Why would they change it when people engage with it? They stand to make way more money with you gambling 50 bucks then if you just pay 10 bucks to just get what you want. If you want them to change their strategies the only way to do it is to stop the profit.
@vicious696 As a gamer there is no point in championing exclusives. They are a marketing tactic made by corporations to force gamers into buying their plastic box to play their games. Anyone saying they’d rather have exclusives than day 1 gamepass needs to see those are both L’s.
@JamieMoranUK I hear you and I agree. However, if I was a game dev I’d be spending 5-7 years and working on having graphics that are as good as humanly possible. Because we can say this but if they release an Xbox360 looking game that’s what people will call it and it’ll get ground pounded.
@therealcliffyb Idk kind of depends on who you ask I guess. I’ve been a gamer for 30 years and I love always felt like there were games I liked and games I didn’t. Maybe certain trends like MTX that I’m not a huge fan of but I’ve played games I really enjoyed where I never engaged in that part.
@_Deez_Games There’s a chance right. However I think form factor alone could give it some cred. I could get a Helix and put it under my master bedroom TV and have a great experience similar to my PC in the basement. It’ll be interesting to see. I love the idea.
@klobrille@SSGSentinel@AaronPajak Multiplatform is awesome though, and exclusives by principle are anti consumer. If I want to play every game on my PC no matter who makes it then I alkyls be able to do that. We were headed this direction and now thanks to PS I’ll likely have to buy a PS6 to play exclusives.
@klobrille@BethWilder26 Oi, this is bad. I’m a fan of a lot of the moves Xbox is making lately but bring back exclusives, and maybe considering killing gamepass are both bad for consumers. It’s frustrating to see people say they would rather see Gamepass die in order to “get” exclusives…
@RinoTheBouncer For me it’s the quality of the hours. If a game has a high quality 20-40 hours that’s worth more than 100+ hours of low quality content.
