@LordPhilofBrum Drove to the stadium from the north - first poster/banner (saying ideal family day out) was at the stadium itself - no visuals, no welcome to Brum, unlike any event I have attended.
Staff super friendly (as per usual in Birmingham)
@AndyBurnhamGM@ACScricket Get the bbc to pay what it’s worth then ....millions on highlights presenters for football and so little on our national sport..... can’t even get radio coverage for the last overseas series #priorities
@WG_RumblePants Play it at Lords first Saturday after club season ends.
Make it a big celebration of club cricket - get club honours board players on big screen
Market as a big day out for clubs - and prove tix accordingly
Bar receipts are weather proof
Give the players a decent crowd
@finnysteve Yes, and while they are at it how about utilising the BBCs great cricket archive, some proper cricket docs (see Amazon and Netflix and the impact they have had on the sports concerned). And then maybe some coaching progs across the summer hols. Cricket’s our national aport
Evidence: County Cricket can become even greater if it is allowed to do so and is backed and supported from the top....that's why cricketers from around the world love it and think it's a great honour to play in it. It must never be allowed to die...we won't let it happen
@dgriffinpix@DerbyshireCCC@leicsccc One of the very best county cricket accounts David. Thanks for all the great content, comment and (goes without saying) the pictures
