@JournalismSEEN@ni_wrn Difficult to not see the agreement as a loss for WRN NI. They don't get to participate this year and no agreement that they'll be allowed in future years. Very disappointing.
@TheatreSpoonie@RolyPolyFish@daniellismore No, this would leave the venue at risk of prosecution for indirect discrimination for not providing female single sex toilets, or fully enclosed cubicles, as it negatively affects females. That is not what the EHRC guidance states.
@SouthernMan7@CopperCation@KarenJukes2@noreen022348172 From the circumstances explained in this thread I'd have thought it satisfied the requirement for involuntary manslaughter; "Conduct that was grossly negligent given the risk of death". Negligent to stab your sister and then not call emergency services.
@ciara_byrd13@grok@tonymuscolino@_celia_bedelia_ Numbers and statistics can often be manipulated to lie. I've seen various conflicting stats on this subject. How many people have been killed by females in recent school shootings in North America, more than the 10 we're aware of from the recent trans identified male shooters?
@mvaneerde@Veritaserum44 Debatable, especially with the new cohort of young people identifying as trans. It is then open for debate what % of children are you willing to allow to mistakenly affect their future fertility and health with hormones and removal of body parts.
@mvaneerde@Veritaserum44 In this scenario, false positives are children who will potentially have had their fertility permanently affected and body parts removed. There is most definitely a place for philosophical arguments of whether this should ever be considered a rational response to a feeling.
@mvaneerde@Veritaserum44 No, I didn't say that. I also didn't say that all same sex attracted people would be gender non-conforming. I said it "can" be predictive. In the case of Susie Green's son, her feeling was correct.
