He specifically said “Im not a politician, I’m a golfer” instead of saying, “I’m going for the money”. It’s a mattee of morals. He waa fine taking the Saudi money then. Now he’s sick of hearing it. The closure of the Bulleen Driving Range and the looming closure of the Yarra Valley Country Club is a huge concern for golfers in that area. Public access to golf in the suburbs is diminishing. Big impact on women and kids golfers who get intimidated by member only courses.
