Pulled pork is supremely overrated; in my eyes it’s a bottom-tier BBQ food. By no means is it bad - it’s fine, but I’d rather almost all other BBQ meats. A good brisket, rib, burnt end, steak tip, hell even burger are far superior to pulled pork. It’s better as a garnish to Mac ‘n cheese than it is in sandwich form or as a standalone dish, which is a telltale sign that there’s a bubble which will eventually burst, alerting the public to it’s mediocrity. Not many are brave as I to stand on the table and announce such brazen opinions. I can hear the SEC boys clacking away at this and I’ve yet to hit “post”, but so be it.
