If you are buying a stock mainly for dividend announced, you need to really consider if it’s worth all the mental gymnastics.
-Broker and other commissions- 1.5-1.6%
-Dividend tax-10%
-The stock may decline in value too

Buy MTNN with 1m naira at 800naira, you get, what you later end up with is like 15k naira in dividend. 🙄

If you don’t have a lot of money, I personally don’t think it is worth it.
