A DCSO SRO was notified this morning that a teacher found a firearm in a classroom.
Sheriff Cross has requested an additional presence of law enforcement at the schools today, as a precautionary measure.
There is no active threat at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.
Last week, we received a generous donation of a bulletproof vest from Brady’s K9 Fund, for our very own K-9 Daisy.
Brady Snakovsky is a 4th grader in the City of Strongsville Ohio. He donates ballistic and stab-proof vests for working K9’s.

We made our first medication and grocery delivery today, to a lady who is 90 years young.

Sheriff Cross has instructed his Deputies to assist our most vulnerable citizens with picking up their pre-paid groceries and/or medication from local grocery stores and local pharmacies.
