Edmund Farrow

Used to be a housedad. Now back in the workplace. Be afraid.

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Thanks for all the support, everyone. We made it! A little Robotron at the finish... #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

2-ish hours to go. Final Fantasy 7 Remake done. The Artful Escape done. Just need to stay awake. Struggling to work my varifocals and type at the same time at this point! #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Still going... #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Over half way through the marathon. We've been playing Gartic phone online with one of the older children. (Like The Telephone Game but with drawings!) #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

If I achieved nothing else this week, at least I earned some dad points rescuing Sprog3's 500 hour Fantasy Life save-game when their 3DS stopped recognising the SD card only 2 days before the gaming marathon. They've been playing it all day! #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

OK, that's Control done. (Thanks, @remedygames, for the built-in cheat options. Much frustration avoided!) Gaming marathon in aid of Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity continues - Final Fantasy 7 Remake next. #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Yep, as expected, nothing weird here at all... #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

OK, I've successfully managed to beat up a grandmother using the power of my abs. Time to move on to the AWE expansion of Control because there's absolutely no chance that will throw up anything weird... 😉 #SavePoint2021 https://t.co/hrirBIL9aV

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Having just had a dream where I was somehow casting my screen from a DS onto a big screen in a cathedral visitor centre and other people's teenage children were rolling their eyes at me, I feel like I'm already an hour or two (at least) into this gaming marathon. #SavePoint2021

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

OK, some Ring Fit Adventure and we've begun!

The Farrow Family will be gaming in aid of Edinburgh Children's Hospital Charity this weekend!

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

All done. Time for some sleep!

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Hmm... 13 hours in and I started on Slayaway Camp. This has gone weird earlier than usual...

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Nine hours in to our belated gaming marathon and it feels like the middle of the night already. So far I've played Days Gone and we've had family Among Us time.

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

@waksplat Done (and had a bit of a lie down...) Tomorrow will doubtless be an adventure!

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

Space Hulk! #SavePointX

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

@SKsavepoint Cheers!

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

And we're done. Off to bed for a bit. Thanks, everyone! #SavePointX

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

@waksplat It's a little too fancy. The miniatures are so overblown, they don't fit on the squares properly!

[Edmund Farrow @DadsDinner]

There's still (somehow) 5 hours to go. 'Eyelid resting' becoming frequent. 3-way Spelunky kept us awake for awhile. Sprog2 did his annual run of Wario World. Kids on Terraria now. I'm on Bard's Tale 4. #SavePointX
