CONTEXT: Epstein tells Zuckerberg: ”I have tried over the years to fund the most rarefied of the sciences. things that would most like not receive govt grants.”

He goes on to tell Zuckerberg: “Over the past two days I have [had] great fun teasing and informing some world leaders, at my ranch” and then ends the email by saying “Trust , Taxes and Transactions each need to be a fundamental part of a new system. Social contracts at the end of the day.”

Four years later, for whatever reason, he dug up the email to Mark Zuckerberg and forwarded it to Kathy Ruemmler saying: “Thought you would find amusing. My social contracts were payment agreements. 4 yrs later :))”

Definition of a payment agreement: ‘A payment agreement is a legally binding contract between two parties that outlines how and when a sum of money will be paid. It sets clear rules for transactions, loans, or paying back past debt.‘

He means it quite literally. He gave money, gifts, and access so people would owe him. He would create a debt and therefore could create a favor on top of probably recouping a shit load from his investment...

I searched for news around that time of what Zuckerberg may have been doing and 2 days before this email was sent, Zuckerberg published a blog about making Facebook more private and encrypted, much like WhatsApp. Not sure if there’s any correlation but I thought the timing was odd..

A metadata analysis — first reported by independent journalist Marcy Wheeler and independently verified by the Daily Beast — identifies Harp as the document author of the 14-page memo Trump sent the January 6th congressional committee in October 2022, created on her account the morning after the committee voted 9-0 to subpoena him.

The memo is one of the foundational texts of election denial, opening in all caps: “THE PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION OF 2020 WAS RIGGED AND STOLEN!” — before attacking committee members as partisan hacks and defending the January 6 crowd as patriots.

The White House did not respond to the Beast’s request for comment. The finding recasts everything already on the record about Harp’s role: this is the aide who worked in the White House for a year while declining to seek a security clearance until Trump personally intervened, and whom current and former administration officials told the Wall Street Journal has fed Trump information that was “false or misleading” — all on a $150,000 taxpayer-funded salary.

As the late Sen. Lindsey Graham once put it, she was the person to talk to if you wanted to get something to Trump.

Why it matters: For a week, Washington debated whether the Harp story was serious or salacious.

Here’s the answer: the unvetted aide with unfettered access wasn’t just printing articles — the metadata indicates she was drafting Trump’s official defiance of a congressional subpoena, in service of the lie that fueled January 6th. The person no background check ever cleared helped write the history.
