Tonight we remember Peabo Bryson, the legendary Grammy Award winning singer whose timeless ballads helped define R&B romance for generations.
From "If Ever You're In My Arms Again" to unforgettable duets like "Beauty and the Beast," and "A Whole New World," his voice carried love, hope, and emotion in a way few artists ever could.
Across five decades, Peabo Bryson gave us the kind of music that became the soundtrack to weddings, first dances, quiet nights, and unforgettable moments. His legacy will continue to live on through every note.
Rest in power, Peabo Bryson. 🕊️🎶

I've seen a lot of these floating around with JUST the section where #MichaelJackson let's everyone know he's going solo, but here is the full performance around the announcement made December 9th, 1984, at Dodger Stadium...
🚨 MICHAEL JACKSON HAS 20 HIT-PIECE DOCUMENTARIES MADE ABOUT HIM.
That’s more than Jeffrey Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Jimmy Savile combined.
Now Netflix is dropping another one in 2026 rehashing the exact same trial lies he was acquitted on.
The media’s obsession with destroying Michael never ends.
Here’s the insane list:
1. Living with Michael Jackson (ITV, 2003)
2. Louis, Martin & Michael (BBC, 2003)
3. Michael Jackson’s Mind (Channel 5, 2003)
4. Michael Jackson’s Secret World (Channel 4, 2005)
5. Dateline NBC: Michael Jackson Investigates (2005)
6. 20/20: Michael Jackson Trial Coverage (ABC, 2005)
7. CBS 48 Hours: Michael Jackson (2005)
8. The Michael Jackson Trial (Sky News, 2005)
9. Michael Jackson: What Really Happened (Channel 5, 2007)
10. Michael Jackson’s Boys (Channel 4, 2009)
11. The One Show Special: Michael Jackson (BBC, 2009)
12. Michael Jackson and Bubbles: The Untold Story (ITV, 2010)
13. Michael Jackson: The Untold Story (Channel 5, 2011)

19. Leaving Neverland 2: Surviving Michael Jackson (Channel 4, 2025/26)
20. Michael Jackson: The Verdict (Netflix, 2026)
They don’t do this to the actual monsters. They just keep using Michael Jackson as their smokescreen.
The audience reaction to the finale scene is so real 🔥. There’s just something about watching Michael walk into his destiny, into his power. Such a great climatic ending, I can never get enough of it 🔥 #MichaelMovie
@saycamore@LiberianGirl779 the fact that everybody thinks it’s so funny and continues to joke about it really shows how little they knew about what he went through his entire life
Something that I love about this era is Joe is getting rightfully villainized again, because he was a fucking MONSTER.
One of the worst fathers to ever exist period.
We will not be deyifing him in this household, ever.
MJ & his brothers and sisters made it IN SPITE OF Joseph.
To add, when Michael worked on Captain EO, Anjelica Huston playfully pushed him and it gave him a trigger that was so bad he started shaking & couldn't do his scenes with her anymore. The damage was so deep :(
The fact that none of the people criticizing him show enough empathy to consider MJ’s environment, the psychological impact vitiligo had on him, and that it was a private matter he didn’t owe disclosure about, is enough to prove they wouldn’t have shown empathy in the 80s either.
@saycamore It’s surprising that anyone would even raise the issue in such a way as to suggest he ought to have said something. He isn’t obliged to say anything at all about his state of health. It’s not a topic for discussion at all
Just the CONCEPT that it would’ve been easy for MJ to disclose a condition nobody knew about in the 80s in the middle of the AIDS panic is insane. The media would’ve RAN to say it was contagious & the public wouldn’t have believed him. Can we start considering historical context?
If Michael revealed his vitiligo in the 80s, they would’ve said it’s an excuse he made up. He revealed it in the 90s, and they called him a liar. His autopsy confirmed he had it, and they said it was fake. Stop pretending people would’ve been empathetic in any scenario.
