I’ve been thinking a lot about stock quote tokens lately.

Initially, I wasn’t sure we needed them. Flap already had Stocks Vault, and stock-paired tokens had been explored elsewhere.

But eventually I realized the stock pair itself is only the starting point.

On Flap, trading taxes can always been used to:

(1) reduce supply over time,
(2) reward holders with stocks, or
(3) continuously add liquidity, reducing the impact of larger sells.

Different communities can choose different combinations depending on how they want to build.

That’s the real reason we added stock-paired liquidity pools. Once stocks become the base quote asset, you can start building an entire programmable token economy around them.

Feels like we’ve opened a new Pandora’s box of RWA tek.

Still early, but very fun to explore.
