That said, I definitely see how the game had the impact it did, and I wish I played it much sooner.

It's a shame a significant chunk of the playable cast either didn't matter or were outright godawful as characters (fuck off, yuffie).

I finally played through and beat final fantasy 7, one of those games I just never sat down to play fully before.
