Galamsey has destroyed and continues to destroy Ghana’s rivers. As a result, many communities no longer have reliable access to clean, safe drinking water. The institution responsible for providing water to Ghanaians are struggling to treat and supply water because of the severe pollution caused by illegal mining.

Illegal mining is taking place right beside major roads, farms, schools, and other critical infrastructure, leaving behind environmental devastation and putting nearby communities at risk. It is not only contaminating our rivers with toxic chemicals such as mercury and cyanide, but it is also degrading farmlands, destroying biodiversity, and threatening the livelihoods of countless families. HISTORIC VICTORY. HIGH COURT DECLARES THERE IS NO TIME LIMIT ON LAND JUSTICE IN KENYA.

In my petition, Okiya Omtatah Okoiti v Attorney General & Others, the High Court has declared unconstitutional the provisions of the National Land Commission Act that imposed time limits on the Commission’s constitutional mandate to review grants of public land and investigate historical land injustices.

The Court affirmed a simple but powerful principle. Parliament cannot diminish or extinguish powers that the Constitution has vested in an independent constitutional commission. Justice delayed cannot become justice denied through legislative deadlines.

This judgment restores hope to thousands of Kenyans and communities who were locked out of justice by arbitrary statutory time bars. The constitutional path to redress for historical land injustices remains open.

The Constitution has prevailed. Land justice has no expiry date.

The elephants at Amboseli died as a result of consuming cyanide being used to illegally ectract gold at Amboseli.

The narrative of consuming cyanide tainted tomatoes is an unconvincing childish analogy.

Anything fit for human consumption can never be toxic to wildlife.

The truth of the matter is that the CONservancies and National Parks are Mineral Reserves being illegally exploited.

One thing about wild animals is that they'll always expose the nature of their ecosystems.

Today everyone’s getting it!

They removed me from the Senate Committee on Roads, Transport & Housing where I champion inclusive transport and mobility, sustainable cities, and accessibility in the built environment for the rights of over 8 million persons with disabilities as provided for in the PWD Act of 2025.

Everyday, I come to this house diligently to do my job, to execute the business of those I was brought here to represent, and I do it well even with a disability.

If this is punishment by the leadership - so be it, but one thing that people ought to know is that God has a knack for turning a bad situation into a glorious occasion! 😉 #VIP
