If you need to be especially mad at one bad actor in terms of emissions, please turn your head at the United States military, who uses over 270,000 barrels of oil a day, while also you know, committing genocide.
@taylr So many notes about "safety"... but nobody pointing out that housing stability and supporting basic needs equals more safety (for everyone). Telling when folks talk about how people are "scared"- who? I know they aren't talking about residents of encampments scared of closures
Nailed it.
“It’s as if the human race has received a terminal medical diagnosis and knows there is a cure, but has consciously decided not to save itself.” h/t @chantz_y https://t.co/KCmzjSQ7UZ
Every major medical association in the US agrees on the benefits of gender affirming care. Jesse Singal intentionally misrepresents the stories of trans patients when meta studies show less than 4% regret rates (and of that social stigma is the cause)

@nickeyrobo Totally doable! You got this! Evie is a great backup when needing a car. If you don't have a Metro Transit card those are nice too for transit for longer distances or if you don't want to bike in harsher weather. Having a rack with paniers is helpful for hauling groceries, etc.
Another thought about this blatant power play by the conservative Council Members today: why did they open themselves up to so much (absolutely well-deserved) criticism for this shitty process? Who benefits?
The answer: Jacob Frey. They did this for him.
