A shocking incident happened in Ho Chi Minh City on May 21, when Australian gang boss Lorenzo Lemalu was shot dead inside a restaurant.
Lemalu was believed to be the leader of the Coconut Cartel, a criminal group involved in drug trafficking, smuggling, and contract violence, reportedly competing with the Alameddine crime family for control of Sydney’s multi-billion-dollar illegal market.
Australian media said he may have fled to Vietnam for safety due to the country’s strict gun laws and high level of security. However, the suspects were reportedly very familiar with Vietnam, identified as Lang Kenny Trong Minh Do and White Justin John.
The Fungus Known as the “Devil’s Fingers” 😈🍄
The Devil’s Fingers fungus (also known as the Octopus Stinkhorn) is a bizarre-looking species native to Australia and New Zealand that was introduced to Europe around 1914.
This saprophytic fungus typically grows in shaded environments such as forests, parks, and gardens. It begins its life hidden inside a partially buried white egg-like sac beneath the soil. As it matures, the sac bursts open, revealing four to eight bright red tentacle-like arms that curl outward, giving it an eerie appearance reminiscent of a creature from a horror movie.
The upper surface of these arms is coated with a dark, slimy substance containing spores. Even more striking is the fungus’s powerful smell of rotting flesh, which serves a purpose: attracting insects that help disperse its spores.
Although there is currently no evidence that this fungus is toxic, experts advise against consuming it due to its foul odor and potential risks.
Nature can be stranger than fiction.

A trained narcotics detection dog stole the spotlight during a Chilean Navy K9 graduation ceremony after unexpectedly lunging straight into the jacket pocket of a senior naval officer, leaving the entire audience stunned.
The officer was later identified as Vice Admiral Arturo Oxley Lizana. Even more surprising, footage appears to show another detection dog earlier attempting to approach him in a similar way before being quickly pulled away by its handler.
The video has only recently surfaced online. As of now, the Chilean Navy has not issued any official statement or publicly commented on the incident.
The dogs had just completed a training program organized by Chile’s National Customs Service in Los Andes, aimed at strengthening maritime anti-narcotics enforcement capabilities
😅 Sometimes the K9s take their job a little too seriously.
