@michbro85 Heya! Oh I’m so sorry to hear, he was a lovely pig. How old was he? I hope you’re doing okay. Don’t beat yourself up too much about not knowing. She’s doing good! 11 months and crawling and stealing our food already 😆 this was her today falling asleep mid-bottle.
How has everyone been? I know I’ve been quiet. Childcare has taken over all of our free time. 😵
We’re in the process of moving to a bigger house atm but it’s looking like we won’t get more pigs anytime soon as we know we don’t have the time to give pigs the care they need.
@TuftyPiggie@DAISYLittleOne1 Yeah honestly I think it’s going to easily be 10+ years before we consider pigs again because with work and childcare we both know we won’t be able to give pigs the care and attention they deserve. It will happen though.
So it’s come to my attention that Michael Bond (creator of Paddington) had a guinea pig character. Olga da Polga, who has a whole series of books where they tell tall tales about their daily adventures.
I cannot wait to read these to my daughter.
@Neville_Dinah Oh I’m so sorry to hear, Neville was always lovely to follow. We’re doing well, busy with work (I got a promotion recently!) and Riley is 11 months now, madness!

@NumbZombieMom Looks like they’re mostly out of print as a lot of them are from the 70’s (!!!) but I grabbed one on eBay for a couple of pounds. I was looking up Paddington board books for my little one and saw a Guinea Pig on the list of Michael Bond’s books! I am very excited now haha
