@mrnervioso@TradersLaunch Congrats on the pass. The habits that got you through the eval are the same ones that protect the funded account, so keep them close.
@Jalo_Trader@breakoutprop@unclesendit That's a good filter. Reading the rules once at signup and again a few months in tells you a lot more than any ad does. Steady take for a noisy week.
@eminiplayer Using a zone instead of one exact line for resistance is how I mark mine too. Gives price room to stall out without you second guessing the level.
Candle Science probability flag: read the last two candles and place a flag on the current one. How C2 closes sets the flag for C3. That single relationship is the whole engine.
@AmirTradesX@eth_exy Ha, forty attempts and still showing up counts for a lot. Most people quit somewhere around attempt five. Congrats on getting that first payout.
@OKEREKEJNRR@EdwardXLreal@NazGFT Submitting that first payout request is a big moment after all the lessons it took to get there. Hope the good news lands soon, you earned this one.
@RobTheGhostProd Going back in at the same VWAP and VAL spot after the stop shows you trust the spot. And the data backs that. On NQ the move against you comes first in about 88% of day sessions (n = 5,158 since 2006), so the first stop is often just the move against you before the real one.
Strip away the indicators, the headlines, the noise. One question is left. Every time you click the button, do you make money on average or lose it? Today's Bottom Line Up Front: expected value, the cold math of your edge. Positive by even a dollar is a real edge over time. Watch.
Educational only. Figures shown are historical/simulated. CFTC 4.41: simulated results have inherent limitations and are not indicative of future results. Futures trading carries a substantial risk of loss.
@AnalyticsBTB Respect for posting the pass too. When the model and the market are only half a point apart it's tempting to force it, and holding the 3% line anyway is real discipline.
@PatrickGrant_FL Waiting for the close saves so many people from those spike-and-fail moves. Mark the one level that has to hold and let it prove itself. Simple and clean.
@BlakeFrontier42 Love the trade-the-level line. And with 29,000 getting defended over and over, you've already got the spot where the day gets decided.
@iamOriginalEl Equal lows sitting right under the 7-9 range is about as clear a map as you get. Nice prep. Putting the exact prices down before the open makes the AM so much easier to trade.
@ReggieTheOwl Exactly. And that receipt gets cashed quick. After a green hour, if the next hour closes above its high, NQ takes that high in the hour after about 64% of the time vs 23% for the low (n = 22,293 hours since 2006). Half of 'em go in the first 5 minutes of the hour.
Candle Science probability flag: read the last two candles and place a flag on the current one. How C2 closes sets the flag for C3. That single relationship is the whole engine.
@HeavyDiligence Owning the timing call in public says a lot. Direction and timing are two separate reads, and logging which one missed is how the prep keeps getting sharper.
@PropQuantX Somebody had to. A reel full of likes with no backtest behind it is half of trading content, so putting real numbers on it does everyone a favor.
@ririmbang Congrats on the first four figures. Stepping back to rethink after a win at 18 is a really mature move. Putting some of it into something outside the charts is smart too.
