MCD has officially launched. We provide regular updates on the myth community with clarity and consistency. For news tips or confessions, our DMs are open.
Despite these challenges, creators are still going strong! With less harassment in-game for creators, new YouTubers rising, and a community structure: the community has grown stronger than ever!
Who is actually responsible for the myth community's decline? Is it the community, where massive dramas alongside hunters and myths retiring causing it? Or is it Roblox's most recent updates, where creators are actively getting impacted through their ability to create games? ποΈ
On the other hand, Roblox's recent publishing requirements require myths to complete ID verification, have Roblox Plus *or* pay a 1,000 Robux fee, and meet a "500 highly-engaged player" requirement.
Every myth, whether popular or unknown, becomes part of the culture. The myth community cannot survive only through old names. It continues through people keeping the tradition, even if their work is small or imperfect. Not only to tell a story, but to leave something behind.
Why would anyone make a Roblox myth? Many people just think a myth is just a strange account and an eerie game, but it's often something much more personal, a vessel where complex feelings can be transformed into something that can be experienced rather than just felt. πͺ‘
Creating a myth can be a way of finding like-minded people. It becomes a signal placed into the community, waiting to see who notices and responds. When people do, the myth stops belonging to the creator, and instead, belongs to the community.
Antique's Myths has reached 500 members in its Roblox group on May 4th, 2026! As they reached this milestone, clockerine thanks everyone for seeing the group in its growth and announces several projects on their roadmap!
According to clockerine, the owner of the group: "we have a roadmap in order of: [a] Myth Forest [game], [a] Circus of Myths, [and an] upcoming myth guidebook for myths and myth hunters!"
Roblox moderation is known for being inconsistent and heavily automated, with many reports of false terminations. Even so, DMC hopes Roblox reviews this case properly and restores access to Mopheriusβ account, Nightfall Time, and all games tied to his work.
On April 16th, Roblox terminated the account of Mopherius, creator of Story Time and the Nightfall Time myth group, in an "enforcement ban" tied to a different user on the same computer.
Several related accounts, including the Pink Courtβs queen and Antpchi, were also affected. The Nightfall Time Roblox group was locked as a result. The connected games are still active for now.
Right now, UMOR Reborn's focus is on disputing the strikes and trying to get their museum and Colosseum back. Other groups are sharing UMOR's announcement in open solidarity. DMC hopes the appeal lands in UMOR Reborn's favour and that their games become accessible again.
BREAKING NEWS: UMOR Reborn's museum and Colosseum have been taken down after a wave of Intellectual Property strikes, taking down their main games and forcing all development work to be paused and the anniversary event to be put on hold. πͺ‘
The strikes were filed by Conn0rlul through his group "Unknown Myths Of Robloxia" under his alt, Mythusia. UMOR staff call the claims "illegitimate and legally baseless" and say a counter claim is already in progress.
This comes not long after Kylos shared he would be stepping back from KMD and the myth community for around two months for mental health reasons, with others handling leadership in his place. An event to mark the 1,000 member milestone is planned for when he returns.
Kylos Myth Directive (KMD) has officially passed 1,000 members on its Roblox group, a milestone announced while Kylos is still on break. Congratulations to Kylos, Nesquik, ayka, and everyone involved in pioneering KMD to its first milestone. We are excited to see what is next!
