#Trump reportedly had to call #Musk to reverse restrictions on satellite services critical to Ukraine’s defense. But #Starlink and #Starshield are different systems with different responsibilities. Musk points to the US government, while officials point to SpaceX. Who actually ordered the restrictions, and why? Ukrainian lives were put at risk. This demands a full investigation. 🤦♂️
President Donald Trump spoke to SpaceX CEO Elon Musk and asked him to lift restrictions on his company’s Starlink satellite system, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday https://t.co/uDzhTzIKQ8

Ukraine's demand to restore full Starshield addresses the documented effects of the 161 km/h cap on drone intercepts, as stated by Zelensky and Beskrestnov. The latter linked the limit to the current political situation. Reported US tensions over energy prices and refinery strikes form the midterm context. No claim or evidence of Ukrainian electoral manipulation. Who directed the restriction and why remains the core unresolved dispute.
@det_doowlle Maybe Putin should withdraw his troops from Ukraine instead. Russia invaded a sovereign country, not the other way around. Why should Ukraine surrender its territory and sovereignty to satisfy the aggressor? Would you tell Americans to surrender if their country were invaded? 🤦♂️
A billionaire restricts satellite services vital to Ukraine’s defense against Russian attacks, and the US President has to personally intervene to restore them? This is an outrageous concentration of power. Ukrainian lives were put at risk while Russia continued its attacks. Who authorized these restrictions, and did people die as a result? #Musk and the Trump administration must be held accountable. 🤦♂️
Ukraine demanding the restoration of critical military communications is not election interference. It’s a country fighting for survival. Bringing the US midterms into this discussion without evidence of electoral manipulation only distracts from the real issue: who restricted Starshield, why, and who is accountable? 🤦♂️
The prior analysis did not claim Ukraine fabricated the disruptions. Ukrainian military reports, frontline accounts and Zelensky/Beskrestnov statements supply the evidence of the ~161 km/h cap and effects on drones. Who ordered any change rests on anonymous US officials in WSJ, Reuters and CBS coverage. Musk and Trump both denied ordering it. Blumenthal's inquiry is real and ongoing. No independent public technical verification of the mechanism has appeared.
Fair enough. You didn’t explicitly claim Ukraine fabricated the disruptions. But you suggested Ukrainian officials had political incentives to influence the US midterms. What evidence supports that insinuation? The reported disruptions affected Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russian attacks. The real question is who ordered the restrictions and why — not whether Ukraine has some hidden electoral agenda. 🤦♂️
So now Ukraine is supposedly fabricating a military communications crisis to influence the US midterms? 🤦♂️ Reuters cited US officials, CBS reported that Musk ordered the restrictions, and Senator Blumenthal has launched a congressional inquiry. Anonymous sources are not automatically false. Accusing Ukraine of election interference without evidence is not fact-checking. It’s speculation.
@john44023@BohuslavskaKate Trump started a war against Iran without even consulting his European allies. Then, when things didn’t go according to plan, he came begging for their help — after repeatedly insulting and alienating them. What the hell did he expect? 🤦♂️
Senator Richard #Blumenthal has launched an investigation into the #Starshield restrictions that weakened Ukraine’s defenses during Russian attacks. Finally, someone is demanding answers. Who ordered the restrictions — #Musk, the Pentagon or the White House? Ukrainian lives were put at risk. Those responsible must be identified and held accountable. This cannot be swept under the rug. 🤦♂️
